Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on Hirecise ("the Platform"), accessible at https://app.hirecise.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Recruiter") and Hirecise Ltd ("Hirecise", "we", "us").

2. Description of Service

Hirecise provides an AI-powered recruitment platform enabling recruiters and HR teams to post job listings, receive candidate applications, and use artificial intelligence to score, rank, and shortlist candidates. The Platform is a SaaS product accessible via web browser.

3. Account Registration

• • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
• • You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account
• • One organisation may not create multiple free accounts to circumvent plan limits

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

Hirecise offers subscription plans as described on the Pricing section. By subscribing to a paid plan:

• • You authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis
• • Payments are processed securely by Paddle on our behalf
• • All prices are in USD and exclusive of applicable taxes
• • Upgrades take effect immediately; cancellations apply at end of current billing period
• • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers
• • No refunds are provided for partial months, except as required by applicable law

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• • Engage in discriminatory hiring practices prohibited by applicable employment law
• • Upload malicious files, spam, or content that violates third-party rights
• • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Platform
• • Circumvent security measures or access data belonging to other users
• • Use the Platform in violation of any applicable law or regulation
• • Resell or sublicense access to the Platform without written consent

6. Candidate Data & GDPR

When using Hirecise to collect candidate applications, you act as a data controller and Hirecise acts as a data processor under GDPR. You are responsible for: ensuring candidates give valid consent; responding to data subject requests; using candidate data only for legitimate recruitment purposes; and not retaining data longer than necessary.

7. AI-Generated Content

The Platform uses AI to generate candidate scores, summaries, and interview questions. These outputs are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice. Hiring decisions remain your sole responsibility. Hirecise does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated outputs.

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Platform remain the exclusive property of Hirecise Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for internal business purposes during your subscription. You retain all rights to content you upload.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hirecise shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; loss of profits, data, or business opportunities; or damages arising from reliance on AI-generated outputs. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time via the platform or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay subscription fees.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
